St. Catherine University – With campuses located in both Minneapolis and St. Paul, this highly innovative university boasts an all-female student body of around 4,000 and is known around the world for academic excellence and its series of world affairs symposiums. Breck School – Founded in 1886 and located near the northern border of downtown Minneapolis, this independent school focuses on both academics and a service to others. Cristo Rey High School – From its south Minneapolis location, Cristo Rey has become a top college-prep school in the Twin Cities. With over 80% of its graduates having been accepted into college, this Jesuit-run school has a strong focus on values and college preparation.
Academy of Holy Angels – AHA has existed in various locations around Minneapolis since 1877. It is currently located in the south Minneapolis suburb of Richfield. It has a strong tradition of academic excellence and values emphasis. With a student body of approximately 850 students in grades 6-12, Holy Angels has also had state championship teams in both boys and girls basketball.
